Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced Accountant to manage and/ or supervise all accounting entries and prepare key financial reports including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statement, and monthly management reports. The ideal candidiate must have strong ecperience in costing, distribution/FMCG operations, and debt collection, ensuring accurate reporting and strong cash flow control.

Key Responsibilities:

Record and or/supervise all accounting entries(sales,purchase,receipts,payments,journals.adjustments)

Prepare monthly Trial balance, Profit & Loss and required financial reports.

Manage costing, margin analysis, and distribution-related expenses.

Monitor Accounts Receivable and handle debt collection/ follow ups

Montor supplier accounts, manage payments, and ensure timely settlement

Perform Bank, customer amd supplier reconcilations

Support audit and ensure compliance with company procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Minimum 5-10 years experience as an Accountant

Must have worked in distribution/FMCG trading company

Strong experience in costing and inventory accounting

Proven experience in debt collection and receivables management

Strong skills in Excel and accounting software(ERP experience is plus)

Ability to work omline and meet monthly deadlines

Must be willing to travel within Africa 2-3 times per year when required

Employment condition:

This is full time position. No other job or side engagement is allowed while employed in this role
